A Georgian yellow metal brooch circa 1800 of rectangular form depicting a silhouette portrait of a man in side profile by John Miers, signed, with snake border, length 30mm, width 23mm, gross weight 6g.
Condition: No signs of any damage, possible replacement of clasp and loop to rear, general surface wear and minor tarnishing present, overall appearance is very good.
