Fees

A Victorian serpentine necklace, circa 1860, the snake head set with turquoise cabochons, one ruby and one garnet for eyes and rose cut diamond eyebrows, the tip of tail also set with turquoise cabochons, unmarked, head length 32mm, total length 42cm, gross weight 40.1g.

More Information

Condition - very good, later safety added, unmarked and untested but in our opinion would test as gold, the chain being slightly more yellow in colour than the head and tail parts, no stones missing, clasp function, general wear including some minor wear to links, slightly discolouration to turquoises etc.
