An early 20th century mahogany 8 day long case clock, attributed to James Elliott, commissioned by Beamont's Ltd Huddersfield, Graham regulator with deadbeat escapement, triple chimes striking on nine tubes, 13 3/8" pierced brass and silvered dial with rolling moon, Gothic numerals, seconds subsidiary, double chime/silent levers and St Michaels/Westminster/Whittington selection lever, Chippendale style mahogany case, the hood with carved lion mask, side grilles and columns, the case with fluted columns and further animals masks, height 234cm, width 63cm and depth 34cm.
