A George III Regency period mahogany dressing table attributed to Gillows of Lancaster, circa 1815, with concave front, five drawers, turned and reeded legs, width 106.5cm, depth 60cm & height 74.5cm.
Condition - gallery rail missing the back rail has been removed from back edge and the sides removed with later inlay (loosely in place), one non matching brass knob (left of central drawer), lock added to top left drawer, beading missing to bottom of central drawer and beading missing to bottom right drawer, other minor losses, top faded and requires attention, legs appear sturdy, no sign of ever having castors, general wear including marks and scratches etc.
