A Georgian mahogany chest of drawers, the two upper drawers over three graduated lower drawers flanked by quarter fluted edges, brass swan neck handles, on ogee bracket feet, height 89cm, length 118cm, depth 57cm.
Condition: top right side drawer front split, front right and back left foot damage, pieces present in drawer, middle drawer brass escutcheon chipped, damage to some areas of drawer front piping, other general surface wear and small old scuffs and scratches, general colour and patination is good overall, handles fit in the original holes but are suspected to be later, they also appear to have some sort of lacquer on the brass, the whole thing appears to be re-polished.
