A 19th Century violin, probably Italian, length of back 36cm, with hard case and interesting receipt from George Byrom, Liverpool 1922, price £36.
Split to top running approx. 7cm and two cracks to back though these two do not appear to have penetrated right through, scroll appears to have been replaced, line at base of scroll/top of neck, see new images, no worm holes, inlay loose to back, otherwise fine, general wear to include scuffs and scratches etc, no label to interior.
