Auguste Moreau (1834-1917), a French 19th century gilt bronze figural clock formed as two winged cherubs holding aloft a blue sphere with Roman Numerals and serpent hands, mounted with partridge and floral bouquets, rouge griotte marble base with beading and octagonal pedestal, acanthus scroll feet and central cartouche, signed 'Ate Moreau', double spring driven French movement striking on single bell, numbered 30153 and signed 'CHLES MT', height 95cm.

Condition - generally very good, small chips and nibbles to marble, minor scratches and wear to gilding, losses to finish on blue sphere, numerals V missing, somebody has placed numeral I in it's place, part of X broken and missing, no pendulum, appears to be in working order, however, not sold with any guarantee.
