A Georgian gilt metal verge pocket watch with white enamel dial and Roman numerals, the four pillar verge movement engraved with makers name Sam Toulmin and numbered 2485 and having elaborately pierced floral design, movement diameter 35mm, case diameter 43mm, gross weight 73.2g.
Condition: currently untested and no key present however flywheel appears to move freely when movement is moved on gently by hand, minor chips to the dial around key hole with a couple of hairline cracks across dial, minor crack to glass at 11 o'clock with other minor surface wear throughout case but no signs of major damage, hinges in tact, fastener is functional, no outer case present, the inner of case stamped with the letters 'IN'.
