An antique opal and diamond ring, circa 1900, the opal cabochon measuring approximately 14.20 mm x 10.40mm, depth 4.84mm, surrounded by 20 Old European cut diamonds weighing approximately 0.50 carats in total, scroll shoulders, white metal setting with yellow metal band, marked '18ct', gross weight 5.9g, size Q.
Condition - good, very light abrasions to cabochon, diamonds appear bright and lively, no inclusions visible with 10x loupe, no yellowness, little wear to band. The opal is natural and without hairlines.
